Our Weekend Away:
DH loves to drive. Just get in the car & drive, to nowhere in particular, especially to nowhere in particular!

Finishing our hike, he decided to head west from east Tennessee, stopping by another state park with a waterfall. Taking a back road across the Cumberland Plateau, he took his time, then got into traffic near Crossville. Having averaged 71 miles per hour on the way to Oak Ridge, Tennessee, he only averaged 38 miles per hour from Frozen Head State Park to Fall Creek Falls State Park. It took us 4 hours to drive 80 miles! (It felt like 4 days!)

He had no idea that it is a very popular weekend destination & oh my, was there a crowd of folks! We didn’t stay long.
