Final Rush Ahead Of 1st Move
I threw 150 lbs. of grass seed, covered the edges & hill with 4 bales of hay. This should keep the newly pushed dirt from washing down the hill.
There are so many guys working that it’s tough to find a place to park to unload boxes, bags & anything else I can load from the apartment to store in the attic.
Oh good. Billy decided the master bedroom walls were not up to his standard, so they are being retouched, re-sanded & repainted.
At least the final 2 pieces of cork flooring for the exercise room are in plus the threshold.
Upstairs bathroom is complete, though I will have to change out the light fixture – it’s too big for the small room.
The movers come Friday – tomorrow – to move the apartment contents, empty the garage & the small storage unit. We should be able to obtain the Occupancy Certificate. Granite will be installed in the kitchen first thing Friday morning, followed by sink installation & inspection by the county.
Therefore, we will be officially residents in the house as of Friday, Lord willing!
Expecting to have the rest of our furniture delivered from storage in the next few weeks.
